From our place at 266 Grove Farm Road, New Market is a straight shot down Interstate 81. Forty minutes, give or take, depending on what the trucks are doing through the valley.
New Market sits in the lower end of Shenandoah County, tucked up against Massanutten Mountain on one side and the river on the other. You know it for the battlefield, the caverns, and Route 11 running right through the middle of town. We know it for the houses, and the houses here are a mix that keeps a plumber honest.
