We find the actual leak first
Half the job is locating the failure without tearing the house apart guessing. We trace the wet path back to its source, check pressure, and open only what we have to open. On a slab or behind finished wall, we work the access down to the smallest opening that gets us to the bad section. The goal is a clean repair, not a demolition.
We diagnose why it failed
A pipe rarely fails for no reason. Frozen and split is one cause. A pinhole from corrosion is another. A dry-fit or under-soldered joint from a past repair is another. Tree roots and shifting soil get the lines outside. Knowing the cause is what keeps the repair from coming back, so we tell you which one it is.
We cut out the bad section and repair it correctly
We remove the damaged length, prep clean ends, and join in new pipe the right way for the material. Copper gets cleaned, fluxed, and sweated, or pressed with a rated fitting where heat is a hazard. PEX gets a proper crimp or expansion ring. CPVC and PVC get cleaned and solvent welded with full cure time. We pressure test before we close anything up.

Can you fix one section, or does the whole pipe have to go?
Most of the time we repair just the failed section. We only recommend replacing a longer run when the pipe is so corroded that fixing one spot means another leak right behind it. If that is the case we show you the pitting and let you decide. We never quote a full repipe to fix a single joint.
My pipe froze and split. Is there a discount?
